To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is in reference to Veronica Hinojosa-Stang, who was my third child’s baby nurse beginning February 8th, 2010. Veronica arrived the day we returned home from the hospital and stayed for a total of 4 weeks. As I sit here and write this recommendation for Veronica, I cannot begin to express my utter gratitude for all that she did for both me and my whole family.
Being that I already have an active toddler and 6 year old at home, I agreed to find a baby nurse this time around. Veronica did so many things to not only educate us, but to support our family through the first tough weeks of bringing a newborn home. She cared for our baby 12 hours a day, seven days a week and never showed signs of being tired. She also served as my postpartum Doula, making sure that I was rested, ate appropriately and assisted in breastfeeding.
In regards to the care of our infant, she is by far the most caring, patient, knowledgeable person I have ever met. Veronica took care of every aspect of her care during the entire 4 weeks which included baby massage. She also kept detailed records of the baby’s schedule so we knew exactly where to pick up when she left.
Veronica is also a wonderful resource for new products and online information for the baby. I felt like no question or concern was unjustified and her knowledge of the care for children is unsurpassed. Even now after she has left, I feel that I can give her a call when I have a doubt or concern about the baby and she is happy to talk things through with me.
You would think that in the 4 weeks she was with us that the infant would take all of her time, but somehow Veronica made time to spend with our two other children who felt like she was part of the family.
I welcome any prospective parents to please call me for a reference. Veronica is one of a kind, a true professional, a wonderful caregiver and a friend. I recommend her fully and feel truly lucky that she came into our lives.
